Abstract
This collection contains papers and photographic materials of Benjamin T. “Ben” Maxey, Tucson studio photographer (circa 1900-1987). Included are Maxey's newspaper advertisements, notes on facial expressions, and 8 x 10 inch black and white photographs used as samples of "glamour photography." Maxey studied with the California photographer William Mortensen. The collection is inactive.
